- We provide antenatal care in conjunction with the midwives at Great Western Hospital Maternity Unit. If you become pregnant your GP will refer you to our Community Midwife who will give you a ‘booking appointment’ at which the midwife will ask you a few questions and carry out some general health checks. You will be seen regularly throughout your pregnancy at the practice by both your doctor and the midwife. You will be given a ‘Pregnancy Pack’ as soon as your pregnancy is confirmed which provides lots of useful information.
